A little escape to Asheville

Hey guys, I hope everyone is having an amazing Friday!

A couple weekends ago we ventured out to the west part of North Carolina into the mountains. My sister and her boyfriend had mentioned to us a while back that they were planning on taking a vacation and stopping in Asheville. I have never been to that area and thought it would be an awesome opportunity to visit them and explore a new place! Luckily, Keven WAS able to join us, because you just never know with the military.

We packed up the pup and headed out on Friday. The drive took us about 4 hours with no traffic. As we were getting closer you could see all the beautiful mountains, seriously so breathtaking.

Asheville was a super cute little city in the midst of the gorgeous mountains. I have been to other areas along the Blue Ridge Mountains but never to Asheville. There are so many cute shops, places to eat, drink, and so many different events going on. One in particular was a drum circle! I have never before seen one and it was super cool.

Over the weekend we spent time eating, checking out the views on a hike we took, drinking and just hanging out together. My sister found the cutest air&b that was puppy friendly and had an awesome fenced in yard. The house felt so homey and had the cutest decor.

Places we ate at were: Mellow Mushroom (delicious pizza!), Zuma cafe, High Five Coffee Shop, and White Duck Taco Shop(highly recommend if you are a taco lover!).

Asheville has plenty of breweries and local unique places to stop in for coffee or food. If you head out to the Mountains of North Carolina this place definitely deserves a stop. There are tons of hiking areas around the city which I wish we could have spent more time exploring. Definitely craving on taking a trip back sometime in the near future!

Below are some pictures I took throughout the weekend, I hope you enjoy!
